Our Launch Sites

We currently fly out of a few fields in the DFW area.
These sites are available to rocketeers only during an official DARS launch.

• Gun - Gunter {Map Link} can handle launching all sizes of rockets: High-Power Rockets, Mid-power Rockets and Large and Small Model Rocketss.
  Monthly Launch (Normally on the third Saturday.)
  Safety imposed 4K altitude limit.


• Arl - Arlington {Map Link} ONLY Model Rockets are allowed to fly here. And we are limited to D-motors or smaller. 800ft up may be too high.


• Bwp - Bob Woodruff Park, small model rockets
Individual permits may be obtained to fly at Bob Woodruff Park from the Plano Parks Department.
    (during summer only, Apr-Oct)
